WorkshopOne is operated by True Software Studio Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17460832. This policy remains a draft for legal review before commercial launch. WorkshopOne processes account, customer and vehicle information to provide garage-management, reminder, booking and billing services.

Tenant isolation

Each garage workspace is logically isolated. Staff access is role-based and activity can be audited.

Third parties

Data is shared only with configured providers needed to deliver the service, such as Stripe for payments, communications providers, authorised vehicle-data services and an AI provider when a Pro user actively submits a Workshop Assist question.

Workshop Assist AI

Workshop Assist sends the technical question and limited vehicle context such as make, model, year, fuel and technician-supplied derivative details to the configured AI provider. It removes the selected registration and customer details before submission. An anonymised question, answer and evidence can be retained in WorkshopOne’s shared technical library so other garages can reuse matching research. Garage-private verification records remain isolated; only WorkshopOne-approved shared answers display as centrally verified.

Payments

Stripe acts as the payment processor for WorkshopOne subscriptions and, where a garage connects its own Stripe account, customer invoice payments. WorkshopOne does not receive or retain complete card details.

Retention and rights

Garages control their operational data and may request export or deletion subject to legal retention requirements.
